HERC for AFCEE

The Heavy Engineering Repair and Construction (HERC) program is for heavy construction services at sites located on DoD installations (primarily Air Force) worldwide, as well as other sites the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence has responsibility for.

Requirements are carried out under Task Orders.  In some instances, AFCEE requires work in high-risk locations such as Southwest Asia.

Commercial or industrial projects may include fuels projects, military construction, community development projects, military family housing, homeland security, force protection, or other emerging requirements, all of which may require limited environmental support.
