2010 / March 12 - Scholarship Management Services (SMS) will e-mail Job Corps Centers program information and forms.

March 15 - Job Corps sites distribute application materials to eligible students and begin to work with students to complete application requirements.

April 15 - Job Corps Center Directors receive student applications and review for completeness.

May 1 - Postmark deadline for Job Corps reps to send applications to SMS.

June 1 - SMS notifies Fluor Foundation of award recipients.

June 5 - SMS sends congratulatory letters to recipients with return mailer for enrollment verification.  Non-recipient notices also sent out.

mid-June - Center or Fluor Foundation contacts recipients prior to summer break.

July - DEL-JEN and Fluor Foundation honor scholarship recipients.  Recipients confirm school enrollment and contact information with Center.

August - SMS mails check for first half of scholarship.

December - Recipients confirm school enrollment and contact information with Center.  SMS mails check for remaining half of scholarship along with request for renewal information.
