Outreach,
Admissions and Career Transition Services
  A
key component of the Job Corps program is Outreach, Admissions and
Career Transition Services (OA/CTS). Job Corps is a national
training and employment program administered by the United States
Department of Labor (DOL) to address the multiple barriers to employment
faced by many youth throughout the United States
DEL-JEN ensures that the appropriate number of students are enrolled at
each Center through the use of advertising and recruiting campaigns,
eligibility & suitability determination, orientations, and making
information available to the general public. After graduation, we ensure
that program graduates are placed into a job, the military, or
additional training, and that they receive the support necessary to
retain long-term employment. We track graduates’ progress, providing
counseling and additional job placement
services for up to one year after graduation.
